Fresh Faced

For this summer I am going to embrace the "fresh face" look -

Heavy make-up is a big 'no-no' during the hot season and I think when you see girls wearing heavy foundation, eye make-up or lipstick on a hot summer's day, it doesn't matter how good their outfit is, it just ruins it!.... "caking it" is never really a good look but during the hot period you would have to agree it is ten times worse?

It baffles me that the ones who are usually sporting this "over-done" look are the ones who don't even need to wear make-up?

An option would be to wear a light cream for day and if you prefer, one that is tinted for that extra bit of colour.... a nice shade of pink for blush and minimal eye make-up (Mascara Mascara Mascara)

CHLOE SEVIGNY - style ICON -

If I had to pick a celebrity as my Style Icon, it would definitely be Chloe Sevigny. She has continuously impressed me with her quirky sense of style and her abundant use of VINTAGE. Another valid point I have to make is that I don’t see her as being a fad follower like most “fashion icons” these days. I like that if you see most stars wearing bandage dresses and leather jackets, Chloe will rock it in a vintage nude dress with a denim jacket.
