'THE VILLAGE'
I am once again reminded of the reason why my hero continues to be 'Karen Walker' - After her successful runway show at New York Fashion Week last month, where her Spring / Summer 2010 collection was brought to light, it comes to no surprise that Karen Walker continues to demonstrate her signature style with feminine prints, mix of patters, fabrics and shapes.
Inspired by the 60's television show The Prisoner, 'The Village' collection has a 60's approach on Edwardian Seaside.
It's a love affair of 'boho', 'nautical' and 'modern' looks. You will see her signature "trench", this time using gold buttons and a shorter sleeve.... a brave mix of beautiful printed dresses and skirts teamed with bold coloured boat shoes.
This New Zealand Queen of Print has definitely won my vote and I am on deck! xxx
