Lulu Kennedy, Fashion East

Now here is someone truly influential, who you may, or may not have heard of - but I know since I did, she went straight up on my favourites list....- Lulu Kennedy, Director and Founder of Fashion East.... 

Fashion East is a UK based business that supports new and upcoming designers - Lulu and her team search for new designers that prove to be innovative and unique and then go on sponsoring them twice a year to present their work. This helps struggling designers to expose their concepts to international press and buyers during the LFW period and this year's line up for LFW included Heikki Salonen, who previously worked as Assistant Designer at Erdem, Michael van der Ham, and Holly Fulton, who is showing for the second season under the Fashion East banner.

That aside Lulu's personal style will no doubt snag your attention - I love her bold use of colour and wacky prints from the 60's or 70's and her ability to pull off elegant garments worn with messy hair...

It comes to no surprise that she is known as one of UK's most fashionable....x
